Church Sign Shop is operated by Fellowship Church ("Church Sign Shop," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, design a sign, place an order, or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and order details: your name, church or organization name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping addresses.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Shopify Payments and the payment providers shown at checkout. We do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Your designs and files: the text, colors, hashtags, logos and artwork you add or upload in our sign designer, and the print files created from them.
  • Messages: anything you send us through our contact form, by email, or by phone.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, and the date and time of your visit.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small files and pixels that remember your cart, keep you signed in, measure how the site is used, and measure and deliver advertising. See "Cookies, analytics and advertising" below.

Designs saved in your browser. To let you edit a sign after adding it to your cart, our designer saves a copy of your design, including any logo or artwork you uploaded, in your own browser's storage on your device. That copy stays on your device, is not sent to us until you place an order, and is removed when you clear your browser's site data.

How we use your information

  • To print, ship and support your order, and to send order confirmations and shipping updates.
  • To confirm that an order comes from a church or nonprofit organization.
  • To answer your questions and provide customer service.
  • To send marketing emails if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • To understand how our website is used, fix problems, and improve our designs and services.
  • To measure and improve our advertising, and to show our ads to people who may be interested in our signs.
  • To prevent fraud, protect our rights, and comply with the law.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use the following third-party tools. Each one may set cookies or use pixels to collect device and usage data, such as the pages you view and actions you take (for example, adding a sign to your cart or completing a purchase).

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measures how visitors use our site.
  • Google Tag Manager loads and manages the other tags on our site. It does not collect personal information on its own.
  • Google Ads measures the results of our Google advertising and lets us show ads to past visitors and similar audiences.
  • Meta Pixel and Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) measure the results of our Meta advertising and let us show ads to past visitors and similar audiences.
  • Shopify hosts our store and uses cookies needed to run the cart, checkout and customer accounts.

To measure advertising and build ad audiences, we may share limited information with Google and Meta, such as online identifiers, the actions you take on our site, and contact details like your email address in hashed (scrambled) form. Google and Meta may combine this with information they already hold about you. Under some state privacy laws, this kind of sharing is considered "targeted advertising," or a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and you have the right to opt out of it.

Your choices

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described here:

  • Service providers that help us run the store: Shopify (hosting, checkout and payments), payment processors, shipping carriers, our email service, and the analytics and advertising partners listed above.
  • Fellowship Church staff and ministries who operate Church Sign Shop and produce your order.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
  • Business changes: if Church Sign Shop is reorganized or transferred, your information may be transferred as part of that change.

How long we keep information

We keep order records, including your print files, for as long as needed to fulfill and support your order, to make reorders easier, and to meet our accounting, tax and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those obligations.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and payments are handled by PCI-compliant providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the state you live in, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we have collected about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your personal information;
  • opt out of targeted advertising and of the sale or sharing of your personal information; and
  • not be treated differently for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email info@churchsignshop.com or call 972-471-5700. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We respond within the time required by law, generally within 45 days. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will tell you how to contact your state attorney general if you remain unsatisfied.

Children

Our website is intended for adults ordering on behalf of a church or nonprofit. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Where we operate

Church Sign Shop is based in Texas and ships only within the continental United States. Your information is processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
